The NL is a community-based
social service centre supported by the Ministry of
Community Development, Youth & Sports
(MCYS).
It was set up to assist
and befriend the residents in the neighbourhood, especially
those who are elderly
and lonely, in obtaining appropriate services to meet
their needs.
The NL mobilises community resources in
cohesion.
It also engages the elderly and other residents of
all races and religions in inter-generational and volunteer
activities.
